1. Wayang Museum (1640)
Puppet Museum is a museum located in the Great North Door Road No. 27, West Jakarta. Building that looks unique and attractive has been recast several times. In the beginning these Hollandsche named De Oude Kerk ("Old Dutch Church") and was first built in 1640. In 1732 repaired and renamed De Nieuwe Hollandse Kerk (New Church Netherlands) in 1808 due to an earthquake destroyed by the same year. Above ground ruins puppet museum building is constructed and inaugurated its use as a museum on August 13, 1975. Although it has been restored several old and new parts of the church are still visible seen in this building.
2. Maritime Museum (1652-1771)
Maritime Museum is a museum that holds collections relating to maritime and kenelayanan of Indonesia from Sabang to Merauke.
The collection consists of various types of stored traditional boat with a variety of shapes, styles and ornaments, to ship the VOC era. Also presented a variety of models and miniatures modern ships and shipping activities supporting equipment. On the other hand displayed a collection of marine life, the data type and distribution of fish in the waters of Indonesia and various fishing equipment and shipping (navigation tools, anchor, binoculars, lighthouse models and various cannons), traditional boat building technology and folklore customs of the fishermen community archipelago. Indonesian maritime complete the look, this museum also displays the dimensions of the Navy, cartography collection, mockups Onrust Island, maritime figures archipelago and boat trips KPM Batavia - Amsterdam.
The museum is located at Jalan Pasar Ikan No.. 1 Sunda Kelapa, Jakarta Barat.
3. Fatahilah Museum (1707-1710)
Also known as the Jakarta History Museum, if you come to travel to Jakarta, you should visit Fatahillah Museum in Jakarta. Fatahillah Square is centrally located in the Great Northern Way Door 27. There are two other museums in this square. You will also be impressed with a fountain in the middle and a Portuguese cannon.
4. Vredeburg Museum (1760)
Building of the relics of the first Dutch government built in 1760.
5. National Museum of the Republic of Indonesia (1778)
On May 24 April, 1778 a group of Dutch intellectuals established a scientific institution with the name Bataviaasch van Kunsten en Genotschap Wetenschappen, (Batavia Society for Arts and Sciences). The private entity has the purpose of promoting research in the field of arts and sciences, especially in history, archeology, ethnography and physics, and publish the findings.
One of the founders of JCM Radermacher, contributing to the development and collection of cultural objects and books, which have great potential to start a museum and a library for the community.
6. Inscription Museum Park (1795)
Inscription Garden Museum is a museum of cultural heritage legacy of the Dutch colonial located in Jalan Tanah Abang No.. 1, Central Jakarta. The museum has a collection of ancient gravestone inscriptions and a miniature graves typical of 27 provinces in Indonesia, along with a collection of antique hearse. Museum of 1.2 ha is an open-air museum that displays works of art from the past about the sophistication of the sculptor, engraver, calligrapher and poet who fused.
7. Bank Indonesia Museum (1828)
Located on Jl. Great Northern No. door. 3 West Jakarta (front Beos Station). This building was first built in 1828, the relics De Javasche Bank in the Dutch colonial period.
8. Museum of Fine Arts and Ceramics (1870)
This building was founded anatar years 1866-1870, but was inaugurated as a museum in 1976 by the President Soeharto at the time. Style of this building is the only building in the style of classical Greek city in Jakarta area.
9. Radya Museum Library (1890)
Is the oldest museum in the city of Solo, which was established on October 28, 1890. The museum was to educate and inform the visitors for a period of one hundred years old, and still remains one of the most visited museums. The museum displays a variety of exhibits which will all give you a fair understanding of the traditions and customs as well as the Indonesian Solo. Radya Museum Library was built with the purpose of storing books and the works of the poets, writers and intellectuals of the past. Even renowned museums throughout the city to showcase a large collection of antiques, gamelan, keris, wayang, wayang beber scroll, several Java books and the Netherlands.
10. Mulawarman Museum (1971)
Located in Tenggarong, about 45 Km from Samarinda and around 110 Km from Balikpapan. The museum was officially declared on November 25, 1971 by the Governor of East Kalimantan (Mr. HA Wahab Syahranie), which then disreahkan to the Ministry of Education and Culture on February 18, 1976. The collection includes: Jewelry Kutai kingdom, ceramics from the period of Hindu and Muslim parents spears, gamelan, throne, cannon swept the world, and a collection of Bulungan Sultan, Sultan Sand, Sambaliung Sultan, and the Sultan of Gunung Tabur.
